Shift: 3rd 10:00PM to 6:00 AM
REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES AND TASKS:
- Analyzes effects of projects upon various areas such as Engineering, Facilities, and the labor pool to determine the most practical and cost-efficient methods to obtain the required resources
- Designs systems, software and equipment layout
- Designs, develops, analyzes, troubleshoots and provides technical skills during research and/or product development
- Determines, monitors, and reviews costs, operational budgets and schedules, and manpower requirements
- Develops test plans and preventative maintenance programs
- Develops, implements, installs, tests, modifies and/or operates complex equipment and systems
- Effective creative application of technical competence within domain of expertise
- Effectively participates on the engineering work team and supports other team members
- concerning experiment design, materials, equipment setup/maintenance and related issues
- Establishes work methodology and sequence to gather and organize data for review with appropriate engineer(s) in support of project
- Formulates and recommends corrective action measures such as schedule revisions, manpower adjustments, fund allocations, and work requirements
- Gathers and organizes data for review with appropriate engineer(s) in support of project
- Instructs customers in the operation and maintenance of the system
- Maintains records, compiles reports, graphs, charts and related data in support of projects
- Makes recommendations and coordinates and identifies resources required to meet defined
- project requirements
- Participates in the tactical planning for completion of identified project segment
- Performs research and engineering laboratory functions involving the layout, building, testing, troubleshooting and repairing of devices, assemblies, subsystems, and systems
- Prepares and coordinates the plans and schedules for new or existing programs
- Provides technical expertise to customers, users or company personnel either at domestic or international field sites
- Regular communication with other internal customer’s/work teams
- Resolves proposal preparation problems and assesses the progress against established plans and parameters
- Serves as company liaison with customers on administrative and technical matters for assigned projects
- Serves as technical support resource with a demonstrated level of narrowly focused technical competence within defined engineering discipline
- Supports and participates in negotiations with customer
- Utilizes defined resources to meet project requirements
