Our client is a location services company that works with smart buildings. They offer heatmaps, indoor navigation, augmented reality and a whole lot more. They are quickly expanding with their client base which includes verticals in aviation, retail, healthcare, workplace and more. Their global headcount is around 45. The US headquarters is in Boston. They have a very small team here and will be expanding exponentially in 2021.


The Role


Our client is looking for a Partnership Manager, or account manager, who will:

Proactively manage all partnerships, ensuring their success with the products & continuously engaging the relationship

Work directly with the CEO to explore & create new partnerships or channels for growth (primarily target the U.S. accounts)

Work closely with the sales team to support in joint bids with partners

Seize joint marketing opps with partners and work closely with the marketing team to realize them

Own & champion the ecosystem terms (partnership tiers, rebate policy, etc.)

The Person


Excellent interpersonal skills, expected to build strong and trusting relationships with both technical and commercial stakeholders

Startup experience: the team moves quickly with high agility. The Boston office also is a small team. You’ll be a big contributor to the team’s growth for years to come.

Willingness & passion to go the extra mile (eg. work on the weekend to turn an important presentation around or jump on a flight with last minute’s notice to go have an important meeting. This is not a role for you if you’re looking to work 9 to 5 within your comfort zone.)

Deep technology experience and interest (Engineering/Science background is a huge plus)

4-8 years of B2B account management or sales experience

Excellent team collaboration (you will work especially closely with Marketing and Sales teams)

Ability to travel (after COVID) as needed (usually quick 1-2 day visits with clients)
