BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s of Science degree or Technology degree, a related specialized area or field is required (or equivalent experience) plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or Master’s degree plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.

 

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:
Department of Defense Top Secret / SCI with Polygraph security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

 

JOB DESCRIPTION:

General Dynamics Mission Systems (GDMS) has an immediate opening for a Senior Technology Support Administrator to join our team. This position provides an opportunity to develop the cutting-edge technology that supports some of our nations fundamental defense services. GDMS employees work closely with esteemed clients to develop solutions that allow them to carry out high-stakes national security missions. The selected candidate will work with collaborative teams to perform technical activities that impact the design and manufacturing of advanced electronic systems.   • Desire to work in a high paced customer centric environment driven by day to day customer requirements
  • Capture (Multi-Int Archive and Analysis System) MAAS data
  • Perform MAAS Database maintenance
  • Experience with Active Directory, managing groups and user accounts across local system components
  • Maintain the MAAS Application itself
  • Install and upgrade MAAS Hardware (servers and workstations)
  • Mission Marker software
  • Develop and support MAAS Web
  • Experience supporting customer and company sponsored technical meetings
  • Archive and restore data
  • Burn Blu-ray disks
  • Support the following OS and software: MS Windows 7 and 10 Workstations, Windows 2008 and 2012 and 2018 Server Administration, Active Directory, MAAS (Multi-int Analysis and Archive System), MS Office Suites
  • Perform support administration and maintenance of the following hardware components: Dell Workstations and Servers, Extron and PESA video switching equipment, Dell LTO tape libraries, VTC equipment, and various network cable management
  • Experience with vSphere, vCenter and vmWare
  • Report information through weekly site communications group meetings, weekly status reports, and monthly logs to team members and management
  • Experience with JIRA and remedy ticketing management systems
  • Experience with JBOSS and JAVA
  • The ability to multi task and sustain multiple operational systems simultaneously based on current operational needs

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Ability to provide on-call 24×7 support
  • A willingness to mentor and cross train new additions to the engineering team
  • Be a Liaison for system users, capturing critical system performance feedback, which is later presented to key development or engineering team members.
